With not one, but two collaborations with Skrillex this year, to a handful of singles leading up to today’s release of his debut album Eyes Wide Open, the artist who took the bass scene by storm with ‘Maniac’ and ‘Babatunde’ is consistently showing that he’s no one-hit wonder. And now, it’s time to dive into the next chapter of PEEKABOO.
Eyes Wide Open is PEEKABOO at his finest. From the monstrous ‘BADDERS‘ with Skrillex, G-Rex and Flowdan kicking off the project, to other collaborations with Zeds Dead, LYNY and Grabbitz, PEEKABOO showcases an undeniable chemistry with all of his fellow collaborators. In his solo tracks, the artist furthers the underground sound that he has championed over the last few years, while simultaneously pushing it to new depths. Take ‘Sleepwalk’ for example; it’s a track that carries a minimal bass swagger from start to finish, bouncing between cool fills and crisp percussion.
