Benny Benassi Unveils New Album ‘Feel The Bass’, First Full-Length in Ten Years

In the summer of 2002, Benny Benassi and his cousin Alle Benassi created a viral moment with ‘Satisfaction’. Twenty-four years later, the man who helped hardwire electro into the DNA of global club culture is back with a full-length album. Feel The Bass’ is out now via Ultra Records. This is Benny Benassi at his most expansive, rooted in the club culture he helped build while fearlessly pointing toward the future.

The Album: What to Expect

‘Feel The Bass’ opens with ‘Love Is Gonna Save Us’ alongside ARTBAT. The collaboration reached number one on the 1001Tracklists overall chart in 2025. From there, the album moves through twelve tracks. ‘The Future’ with Zamna Soundsystem and Laherte stretches house music into bold new dimensions with whisper-soft vocals and a soaring breakdown. ‘DISCOTEKA’ with Tobias Gerard injects funk-soaked swagger with a nod to the classic era that never loses sight of the present.

The album’s most talked-about collaboration arrives midway through in the form of ‘Chicago Baby’ alongside house legend Felix Da Housecat. These are two artists whose careers are stitched into the fabric of club music history. They come together on a track that bridges eras with the effortless confidence of people who were there when the foundations were laid. “Can we talk about house music? / You already know… It’s Chicago, baby!” says everything about where this record’s heart is.

‘Superstar’ with Chris Nasty delivers ballroom attitude and street-level flair. ‘Just Like That’ with Fideles drops into deeper territory. ‘Shades’ with Glowal and SQU4RE brings corrosive energy that runs right up to the title track with glitching electro, towering builds, and undeniable low-end force. Focus track ‘Can I Feel?’ with Rafael Cerato closes the album on an emotional high. A sun-kissed diva-leaning anthem where soulful vocals rise over rippling electro production that balances impact with feeling.

The Man Behind the Music

Born Marco Benassi in Milan on 13th July 1967, he began DJing alongside his cousin Alle in the late 1980s. This was in their hometown of Reggio Emilia, before moving to Larry Pignagnoli’s Off Limits production studio in the mid-90s. They spent the early years quietly building craft, producing tracks, finding a sound, and learning the studio inside out. Then came “Satisfaction”.

Released in Italy in June 2002, the track peaked at number two in the United Kingdom. It also earned gold certifications in Australia, Belgium, France, and the United States. The track is considered the forerunner of electro house that brought the genre into the mainstream. A record so foundational that its mechanical groove and synthesised vocal hook can still clear a dance floor in 2026 without anyone raising an eyebrow.

The years that followed were relentless. His 2003 debut solo album, ‘Hypnotica’, won the European Border Breakers Award and is regarded as a pioneer record for the electro-house genre. In 2008, his remix of Public Enemy’s “Bring The Noise” won the Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording. The Skrillex remix of his track “Cinema” remained on Billboard’s Dance chart for over two years after its release and won a second Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording in 2012.

A 2022 rework of “Satisfaction” alongside David Guetta re-introduced the track to a new generation of ravers. ‘Feel The Bass’ is the next step for a man who has been at the centre of this music for over three decades.
