Terrence Coates, mostly known as Cavalli Boss drops a thought-provoking track titled “Angel Numbers.” The new single as well as the previously released “Pink Cocaine” come off his upcoming LP No Diamonds Allowed. The debut album will be out December 12, 2022.
“Times we are living in are chaotic, I want to supply a unique experience to the listener,” says Cavalli Boss. The young talent uses a lot of “metaphors and double entendres” to make sure that the message he carries in his songs gets across.
In “Angel Numbers” for example, he speaks of “temptation, illusions, Contracts. and peers in the music industry with the major accolades. You can always still admire your competition though stars recognize stars we learn from each other.” On the other hand, “Pink Cocaine” “shows the audience my presence without being in the room, my charisma, my hunger, my passion.”
Cavalli Boss first started rapping because of a close family member who passed away. Many people inspired him to become a Hip Hop artist after noticing his talent and potential, I never truly aspired to be a rapper I fell into because of everyone telling me about my talent I honestly never told people I rapped. Later on I started recording around when I was 23, but I didn’t continually pursue it because of the streets and distractions.”
First artists that inspired Cavalli Boss to pursue a career as a rapper were Jay-Z, Gucci Mane, and Nipsey. After the release of his anticipated record No Diamonds Allowed, Coates aspires to collaborate with the likes of Ari Lennox, Sza, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Future, and A$ap Rocky.
