The first single off Dane’s upcoming Consider The Source sets the tone and the bar very high. Relentless underground rap vocals slap you from the jump and carry throughout. The first half packs an expertly off-kilter Westcoast bounce that flirts with trap, hip-hop and experimental bass aesthetics. A breezy break eases the intensity providing a powerful release before things get weird. Progressing into even more experimental realms, the sound design runs wild while Great Dane sprinkles in all the right elements to keep things on track. ‘75% alcohol’ hits harder than a double shot of 151… bottoms up.
