Denzel Curry Joins JID for ‘Bruuuh (Remix)’

Four years after the first release of ‘Bruuuh,’ JID enlists Denzel Curry for the track’s remix. 2020 was a huge year for both of the rappers. JID released Spilligion with his collective, Spillage Village, and Denzel dropped UNLOCKED with Kenny Beats. So we were hype to see these two reunite for the ‘Bruuuh’ remix.

The last time the artists were seen on a track together was back in 2018 with ‘SIRENS | Z1RENZ,’ Curry’s melodic narrative on the state of America. But it seems they’ve stayed close ever since. The ‘Bruuuh’ Remix has actually been in the works for quite a while. In March of last year, JID posted a picture of the two on Instagram with the caption “This n**** Denzel one of the most genuine people I ever met… (I should prolly drop Bruuuh Remix huh?)”

Both of them have been in the rap game for a minute, and don’t hesitate to flex their place at the top in ‘Bruuuh.’ JID starts off the song hard with, “The maddest, blackest lad in a savage land/ Of grab and dash and crash in your daddy’s van/ D-D-D, d-d, bad as the most having-est/ Most swaggiest, braggy as never had anything/ So I’m mackin’ as if I never had shit.”  Denzel then adds his impeccable flow to the beat, spitting, “So many y’alls/ I’m bored, there’s too many yawns/ I got a lot of green, it’s too many lawns/ I’m still hot ’til I set in the dawn, until a n**** rockin’ Saint Laurent.”

And we have to agree with Denzel when he says, “We go together like Harry and Ron.” When the two team up, it’s always fucking magic. Check out JID and Denzel Curry on the ‘Bruuuh’ (Remix) below.
