The summertime also known as festival season is one of our favourite times of the year as we have the opportunity to hit those iconic events around the globe and of course, hear all the new house music which leaves us in awe for more. Back with our second edition of FUXWITHIT House Selects, all eyes and ears are on these producers as they take over the music industry featuring Barkin, Matroda, Elohim, Erick Diaz, Freshcobar, and Levi.
Barkin & Gabi’el – Hypnotic
Barkin fell in love with dance music many years ago after attending his first music festival, EDC New York. Dreaming of one day being on stage, he began his music production journey four years ago at the prestigious Icon Collective Music School. Starting in the bass house circuit, he has since evolved his sound and garnered a worldwide fan base like no other. Now, the New York-based producer is continuing his biggest year yet with his fourth release of 2024. Teaming up with UK vocalist Gabi’el, ‘Hypnotic’ is a versatile tech-house track designed to get crowds moving and grooving on the dancefloor. With a tension-filled intro leading into a powerful drop, Gabi’el’s hypnotizing vocals dominate, expertly pulling listeners in as Barkin drives the track forward.
Matroda & Dances – Britney
Matroda is a true mastermind in the house scene and he has called upon Dances to create a club anthem like no other. Dances, known for hits like “Operator” and “Bang,” merges his vocal talent with Matroda’s production, resulting in a fusion of old-school charm and contemporary flair. Their collaboration, ‘Britney,’ is a tech-house blend that has already made waves since its debut on the EDC Las Vegas mainstage. “Britney” goes deep into the dark and gritty side of tech house, complemented by a creative theme and hypnotic production.
Erick Diaz, Freshcobar & Lavelle Dupree – Rock With It
San Diego’s NOS Recordings brings the whole team together to offer ‘Rock With It’, a deep rock groove placed over tech house like you have never heard before. Erick Diaz, Freshcobar and Lavelle Dupree’s ‘Rock With It’ hits at the knees, fills the room with energy and serves as a testament to the trio’s ability to push musical boundaries to deliver a fresh sound that defies conventional genres. Rock melded with tech house, has anyone else made it work so well?
Elohim – Power of Panic
The Power Of Panic album cycle has showcased Elohim’s brilliance in creating symbolic and visually striking content while delving into the intense struggles of mental health. Through these tracks, Elohim explores different facets of her journey, shedding light on issues often kept in the shadows. Highlights include ‘Tiny Human,’ which contrasts the vast, busy world with feelings of insignificance, capturing the overwhelming nature of societal pressures. Another standout, ‘Didn’t Sign Up For This,’ candidly addresses the crushing responsibilities and relentless pressures of modern life, highlighting the heavy toll on mental well-being.
Levi – Jump
Rising from Sydney Harbour’s most esteemed yacht parties, Levi has sprouted his breakout release, ‘Jump’, a melodic house rendition of Ginuwine’s iconic party-starter, ‘Pony’. Transforming the classic R&B chorus into a dance floor anthem, Levi’s track has surged across Europe and the world as we cannot get enough of it. Keeping us sane until his debut European tour, be sure to stay tuned for more updates from this talented artist.
