The journey for Ahnwar Yancey’s musical career started at a very young age as his father was religious minister. That relationship made the artist evolve even further when he started singing in church groups, which led to Ahnwar Yancey joining the famous religious group called “Champions for Christ.” After touring around the country with the group for years, the vocalist decided to run solo and produce inspirational songs with his own genre.
Within his latest album his single, “Praise Him,” lays a representation of our manifestation as human beings and the artist sheds light on our egos and maintains a healthy relationship with ourselves, others and most importantly, God. The talented vocalist perfectly balances out the spiritual ambience throughout the album with more modern pop and r&b twists, giving the collection a wholesome meaning and quality.
