Two of Brazil’s finest underground talents arrive on London label DFTD, as nocapz. and Coppola deliver their new track, “Too Much” nocapz. is known for blending 90s house influences into sleek, genre-bending electronic sets. His sound has taken him from São Paulo to Mochakk’s Calling Festival in Malta, with an anticipated set at Defected Malta in 2026.
“I’m super excited to be debuting on DFTD, a label I’ve been following for a long time. It’s an honor to be part of this amazing catalogue. ‘Too Much’ was born from the desire Coppola and I had to collaborate, and the final result couldn’t be better. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as we do.” – nocapz.
For his DFTD debut, nocapz. teams up with fellow Brazilian Coppola, an accomplished DJ and producer whose diverse influences help create vibrant house music, often collaborating with Brazilian music legends.
“nocapz. sent me an initial idea built around piano, bass, and vocals. The piano part had a short melody that I developed into a full harmony. I added chords that blended perfectly with his piano idea, then layered synths to create the A section of the track, which connected seamlessly with his B section. The final result turned out amazing.” – Coppola
With its sharp percussion and rich synth hooks, “Too Much” has already earned praise from top selectors including Jamie Jones, Max Styler, A-Trak, and John Summit.
