Colin Kaepernick could be back in the NFL this season.
Ever since the NFL apologized for their prior stance on kneeling, there has been this feeling that Colin Kaepernick could be on a team next season. While this is wishful thinking, it remains to be seen whether or not a team is actually going to take a waiver on Kaepernick, who hasn’t stepped on an NFL field in over three years.
Regardless, it seems like various betting websites are already creating odds for who he will play with next. There are some teams that are better suited for Kaepernick than others, and this is reflected in the odds. As you can see, the Baltimore Ravens lead the pack at 9/4 odds, while the Seahawks are close behind at 11/4. The Texans, Chargers, and Chiefs are other notable teams that made it onto the list with some reasonable odds.
Kaepernick is known as a mobile quarterback who can sling the ball downfield so the teams mentioned above would certainly be perfect for his specific playing style. Regardless, he would have to try out for these teams first, before getting a deal. With the Coronavirus making things complicated, there is no guarantee that Kaepernick will be on the field come September.
