Since earning the title of Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2025, John Alto has been on an unrelenting trajectory, proving his worth with every milestone. The first half of the year has seen him solidify his position in the electronic music scene, notably becoming the debut signee on Alesso’s Body Hi label. Beyond his studio work, including a remix of the Swede’s latest collaboration with Becky Hill, Alto has made significant waves on the live circuit, gracing stages at major festivals like Coachella and EDC Las Vegas.
Now, Alto is pulling back the curtain on his creative process. After teasing a special project earlier in May, he has officially released an hour-long set exclusively featuring his own original productions. This performance serves as a direct window into the soundscape he has been cultivating over the last eight months, offering fans a front-row seat to what lies ahead for the remainder of 2025.
Reflecting on the project, Alto shared that he has been deeply immersed in the studio, eager to showcase the evolution of his sound. He hinted that this set is merely the beginning of a larger narrative, with significant career achievements expected to unfold later this month.
The set features 14 tracks across a 56-minute runtime, with an impressive 10 of those being unreleased IDs. The selection highlights the depth of his production vault, ranging from his collaborative work with Alesso to fresh, unreleased edits of tracks by artists such as LISA, RÜFÜS DU SOL, VNSSA, and Years & Years. This fire collection of music reaffirms why he remains one of the most exciting prospects in the industry today.
