Padre Guilherme Channels the Sacred on His New Melodic Techno EP ‘Integral Ecology’

Following the meditative pulse of Veneremur Et Adoremus, visionary melodic techno artist Padre Guilherme returns with ‘Integral Ecology’, a bold sonic statement that bridges spirituality, philosophy, and the club floor. Known for his ability to fuse the transcendental aura of sacred music with the propulsive architecture of melodic techno, Padre Guilherme continues to occupy one of the most intriguing spaces in contemporary electronic culture.

Drawing inspiration from Pope Francis’ encyclicals Laudato Si and Fratelli Tutti, ‘Integral Ecology’ transforms theological ideas into immersive, emotive soundscapes. This is techno as reflection, an exploration of unity, compassion, and ecological consciousness wrapped in hypnotic synths and cathedral-sized atmospheres.

“With ‘Integral Ecology’, I wanted to create a space for reflection and for connection with both humanity and nature. These tracks were born from the desire to share Pope Francis’ vision. ‘Integral Ecology’ is not only about caring for the earth, nature, and animals, but also about caring for one another. It is the conviction that there is only one race, the human race, and that we are all brothers and sisters, children of the same Father. My hope is that listeners will feel uplifted and inspired to live with respect, kindness, tolerance, charity, and peace.” Padre Guilherme

With performances that range from World Youth Day 2023 in Lisbon to Afterlife at Hï Ibiza, and even Cristo Redentor in Rio de Janeiro, Padre Guilherme has proven that faith and techno can coexist not just conceptually, but viscerally. His past collaborations, from The Church Bells (with Ebmath, via Lux Aeterna) to Citadel (with Ginchy, via Errorr), have already hinted at this synthesis. Integral Ecology takes it further, inviting the listener to lose themselves in sound while finding something deeply human in the process.

By weaving together the contemplative and the communal, Padre Guilherme doesn’t just produce tracks, he architects a spiritual experience. ‘Integral Ecology’ is a reminder that on the dancefloor, as in life, transcendence begins with connection.
